I can honestly say I had a lot of fun with this one, in trek to the Itchen Valley Nature reserve I encounter a most gnarly tree it had such character and seemed almost alien I knew I wanted to incorporate it into an image. In this case I decided to take a hubble Jupiter image to merge it with because the colours of the bark seemed to mirror that of the planet and for me this also helped merging the elements to create a cohesive whole.
